US (FL): Hybrid farm officially opens its doors

An Urban farm using a unique approach to indoor farming is now open in South Tampa.

The Co-Founder and President of Le Roots Premium Urban Farm, Christina Alvarez, and her husband CEO Zack Alvarez, joined Gayle Guyardo the host of the global health and wellness show Bloom to share their unique approach to indoor farming.

Le Roots uses vertical and sustainable farming aeroponic and hydroponic systems which allows Le Roots to yield 10x more production than traditional outdoor farming methods.

Le Roots also utilizes natural and cost-effective environmental tools like rainwater harvesting and natural sunlight to produce its premium food solutions.

Le Root's system allows the roots of plants to obtain constant mineral-rich water consumption with above-average oxygen exposure yielding clean, lush crops. In addition to increased growth rates, this system recycles its water source saving up to 95% more water compared to traditional farming systems.

Le Roots can grow more than 150 wellness-promoting plants, inclusive of various lettuces, herbs, fruits & vegetables, as well as various edible flowers. By having the flexibility to grow these various types of consumable plants, Le Roots is better able to meet local demands.

Le Roots also provides local chefs in Tampa Bay and restauranteurs the chance to grow more of the items they have a hard time getting on their own, with its personalized chef experience.
