With farms in Kuwait and Singapore

Growy acquires assets and team of Kalera International (&ever)

Growy Holdings BV has acquired all of the assets, IP, and the core team of Kalera International, formerly known as &ever. This adds the fully operational automated farm in Kuwait as well as the new farm in Singapore to Growy’s portfolio.

Ard van de Kreeke, Founder and CEO of Growy, says: “The acquisition is an important milestone on our way to building one of the first financially viable business models in the indoor vertical farming industry. It gives us access to strong technology, IP, and an experienced management team”.

Dr. Henner Schwarz, former CEO of &ever and President Kalera International, adds: “Growy is a well-established and trusted partner in indoor vertical farming. We are very much looking forward to joining forces. This will bring us closer to achieving our shared purpose to supply communities with healthy, tasty, and affordable greens in any climate zone in the world.”

The Dutch company builds and operates highly automated, energy-efficient, and sustainable indoor vertical farms. The transaction allows Growy to further build its unique technology stack, gain global reach, and form a strong management team with deep technical and commercial expertise at a global scale.
