South Korea: "When the war in Ukraine is over, we will pass on smart farm technology"

Park Jae-deok, chairman of DSE, is on the verge of losing innovation in diversifying businesses in special LED fields such as plant growth LED lighting, Mongolia and Vietnam, and camping supplies.

"Ukraine was an important agricultural country that supplied Europe with fruits and vegetables as well as grains before the war. When the war is completed and reconstruction begins in earnest, we will pass on smart farm technology using plant growth light emitting diode (LED) technology."

Park Jae-deok, chairman of DSE, a small and medium-sized LED lighting company, recently interviewed Maeil Economy at its headquarters in Songdo, Incheon, and said, "We are currently discussing local exports of our smart farm LED products with French LED companies to participate in the Ukraine reconstruction project." Chairman Park predicted, "In particular, as the European Union (EU) is likely to restrict Chinese companies from participating in reconstruction projects, opportunities for Korean companies, including DSE, to enter the market will increase."

Founded in 1996, DSE is a small and medium-sized company with a distribution network and production of lighting products using LEDs and has a lighting brand called "Hippo." In addition, it makes a variety of special lighting products such as LED lighting Hippo Farmtech for plant growth, camping lighting Hippocampics, home sterilizers, and animal lighting.
