UK: Town of Moretonhampstead to host microgreens workshop

A workshop about microgreens at the town's library marks the start of the 'Great Big Green Week' in Moretonhampstead. Led by the Moretonhampstead Development Trust, the event is an opportunity to learn how to grow your own microgreens, and learning simple, sustainable techniques to grow nutritious greens at home.

The free workshop, which takes place from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, June 7, is perfect for beginners and experienced growers alike. The workshop marks the start of Moretonhampstead's 'Great Big Green Week' celebrations.

A registered charity, established to cater to the moorland community's wants and needs, the Moretonhampstead Development Trust has a whole host of activities planned throughout the week.

'Join us as we celebrate how our community is acting on climate change, reducing plastic use and protecting green spaces' the charity said on its Facebook page.
