GreenTech day 2 update

The second day of GreenTech is on and today is, as expected, a super busy day. The organisers paid extra attention to inviting the Dutch growers as well, and combined with yesterday's train strikes, quite a lot of them are visiting the event today. Combined with the warmly welcomed international guests, it feels like the whole horticultural world is present.

With AI being a hot topic last year, this year it's robots everywhere. AI seems to have become more of a tool than a unique selling point and advertising solely with the use of it seems to have changed to claiming you are using Excel - it's the results that count now. As mentioned yesterday, we're still making our rounds to spot all robots present at the show and the other companies present.

Do not forget to come by our booth to pick up your free HortiDaily Guide or the newly launched Handboek Kasgroenten, which has all contact details of the Dutch growers and suppliers in it. And to learn more about our new publication, which will be launched after summer.

"The Influence of Coating on Irrigation," created by Plant Empowerment in collaboration with partners Lumiforte and Cultilene. "Light and irrigation are essential for plant growth, as they drive photosynthesis and mineral uptake. While light steers development, water supports cooling, nutrient transport, and energy production", the authors, Paul van Gils (Lumiforte) and Remy Maat (Saint-Gobain Cultilene), explain. They handed it over to Hans van Gellecum from Canada.
