On Wednesday, the 9th of July, Humans for Good is partnering with the team at Glimpse to run a one-hour tour of Greenspace. Participants will get to know what indoor vertical farms are, how they are better for the planet and communities, what the future of this innovative food system looks like, and how urban farming can be practiced at home and in workplaces.
Following the tour, attendees will head to Kyiv Social in Chippendale for dinner—a social enterprise, Plate it Forward restaurant where every meal purchased results in two meals being donated (one to someone in need in Sydney and one to someone in Ukraine).
This event is intended for anyone curious and eager to learn more about urban farming, sustainability, and green innovations in Australia, or those interested in housing a micro-farm in their building, such as an apartment building, office, restaurant, or hotel.
There is enough space for 10 more individuals, so if you wish to attend you can apply at the link here.
