UK Urban AgriTech (UKUAT) will host an online session on 18 November 2025, from 12:00 to 13:00, featuring Katia Kouloumprouka Zacharaki, Plant Scientist, UKUAT's Director of Communications, and Founder of InnoPhyte Consulting.
The session will explore strawberry production in Total Controlled Environment Agriculture (TCEA), a rapidly developing field that combines advanced technology with sustainable growing methods. Katia will discuss market opportunities, share insights from real-world projects, and examine both the advantages and challenges of cultivating strawberries indoors.
An open Q&A will be available before and after the event, giving participants the chance to engage directly with the discussion and exchange ideas with others in the urban agriculture community.
The event is free for UKUAT members and costs £7.50 for non-members. It offers an opportunity to gain valuable insights into how innovation in controlled environments is transforming the way fresh produce is grown and delivered.
Registration is available at the link here.
