BLV Licht- und Vakuumtechnik GmbH, a manufacturer of specialist lighting solutions, has announced that it will change its name to Ushio Germany GmbH, on 1 February 2021.
Since BLV became part of the Ushio Group in 1990, this long-term affiliation is now reinforced by the new company name and ensures consistency by unifying Ushio’s European entities under a common English language naming convention.
From 1 February 2021, the five core Ushio Europe group companies will be legally registered as:
Ushio Europe B.V. Ushio Poland Sp. z o.o Ushio Germany GmbH
Ushio France S.A.R.L. Ushio U.K., LTD.
With this change of name, Ushio further underlines its global reach and its intent to use its worldwide resources even more intensively in the future and to further advanced research and development of innovative lighting solutions.
As a well-known and trusted horticulture industry label, BLV will continue to operate as an independent brand within Ushio Germany GmbH.
