Madar Farms is a Dubai company using advanced AgTech to help tackle food and water security challenges in the region. This article introduces Digant, Madar Farm's first team member.
"My parents migrated in the early 80s from India to Kuwait, where I was born and raised. We lived in a one-bedroom apartment until I was six years old. A few years later I moved to a new school, where I met Abdulaziz, Madar’s Founder and CEO. I was drawn to the United States of America for university because their system caters to students who are intellectually curious. At Emory, I majored in Economics and International Studies."
"Before working for Madar, I’ve worked for a leading furnishing textiles company in Kuwait, where I was leading a team of 80, as well as a political party in India, where I was leading a team of 750."
What Digant likes about Madar farms, is that every year brings new and exciting challenges as the company expands. "I remember especially the Annual Investment Meeting in April 2017. It was my first major project when I had just joined the company and just moved to Dubai. I had a month to execute a 15sqm exhibition stand and all the digital and print branding collateral. The response from the attendees made it all worthwhile."
