Cultivatd is announcing collaboration with Contain which grants their clients access to indoor agriculture financing and leasing options.
Building and operating a substantial indoor agriculture operation requires key financial resources. Given that indoor farmers – those growing in warehouses, greenhouses and container farms – generally lack the financing options that are available to their outdoor farming counterparts, this has presented a challenge in the past.
Contain, founded by Nicola Kerslake - an indoor agriculture and investment management veteran, is on a mission to create a financial ecosystem that supports indoor gardeners. From the smallest hoophouse to container farms, warehouse farms, and the most sophisticated greenhouses and plant factories, collaboration with Contain Inc. offers a number of leasing, consulting, microlearning, and insurance solutions for indoor growers.
Added Kerslake "We are excited to work with a group like Cultivatd that help people understand which technology best suits their needs - this is an important part of planning before financing and leasing should be considered."
Leasing
Access to an extensive list of pre-qualifying indoor agriculture equipment vendors helps Contain speed up the application process.
Insurance
In "cooperationship" with InterWest Insurance - a regional insurance broker, Contain brings indoor agriculture-specific insurance to indoor growers. The collaboration allows indoor growers in the United States to access quotes on a wide range of insurance, from basic workers’ compensation and liability insurance, to stock throughput and business auto insurance.
