New high-tech research modules almost ready for use

Last year, Delphy in Bleiswijk has started with the building of two high-tech Research Modules. One large research unit is being built for the fully indoor cultivation of high-wire crops such as tomatoes and a multi-layer cell with four layers for the cultivation of lower crops such as leafy greens or young planting material. According to the planning, they will be ready for use in mid-June 2021.

With the extension of the Vertical Farming research facilities, Delphy responds to the strong demand for cultivation knowledge from the growing Vertical Farming market.

The Vertical Farming facilities are part of the Fieldlab Vertical Farming South Holland project. This project is made possible in part by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union and a contribution from the Province of South Holland and has also been made possible by a contribution from Infinite Acres, Priva, and Signify.
