The fifth annual AVF Summit is set to be the best yet. After successful Summits in Beijing in 2015 and Amsterdam in 2016, the 2017 in Washington, 2019 in Oslo. The AVF Summit is now set to take place first time in Germany.

What can you expect
The event will present the newest technological developments in both Vertical Farming and alternative protein production. Six international keynote speakers will present on their expertise of the New Food System and its impact -Vertical Farming and Planetary Boundaries, Cultured Meat, Sustainable Investment, Challenges of the Global Food System.
The panel AgTech Future & Impact discusses transition scenarios, role of education, health and nutrition, financing the transition, climate resilience.
Four Breakout sessions will give room for open discussion and interaction on the topics of: Vertical Farming technology innovations; Swarming the future – insect farming; Holistic Vertical Farming unique selling points; Investors expectation for Vertical Farming.
Another six international keynote speakers will present innovative solutions in LED lighting, renewable energy production, automation as well as present political frameworks for the advancement of VF in Asia and Africa. Startup pitches from all over Europe will show us the next rising stars of the industry.
The last highlight will be the Inaugural 2021 AVF Vanguard Award for Government Leadership in Harnessing Innovation for Sustainable Food Production.
Famous food activist as well from New York Stephen Ritz founder of the Green Bronx Machine give one of his exciting talks on local food production with and for kids.
An exhibition area will give the industry the opportunity to showcase their newest technology. Participants will have the opportunity to network during and after the sessions.
