The rotating growing troughs on towers up to 9 meters high can accommodate different growing media of soil or hydroponics. A proprietary organic growing system is available with plants grown in 100% composted soil using organic fertilizer. With the troughs revolving on the patented hydraulically water-driven system utilizing the momentum of flowing water and gravity only 40W of electricity is needed to power a 9m tall tower. Similarly, only 0.5litres of water is required to rotate a 1.7-tonne structure with water contained in a reservoir, recycled and reused. With the rotation, the plants receive uniform light and the crops are presented to the grower for ease of working.
