Cultifutura’s first product is a vertical farming solution available in the market designed to be placed in offices. This system allows each user to own an insulated indoor garden, choose what to grow, get
information about the status of the cultivation from everywhere and exchange the harvest with other growers.
All these functions are managed by a dedicated web app that allows users to receive notifications and educational material about vertical farming, plans, and sustainability in general.
CultEvo
CultEvo is a fully automatic hydroponic growing system. It approaches urban farming in a unique way. Cultifutura has developed CultEvo mainly to improve the overall well-being of employees in the offices. The company offers selected employees access to their own private garden. Each machine can stand alone or be part of a larger group and create a community around it.
CultEvo has two different units where each user owns one (or more) cells. Each cell has room to grow up from one to fifteen plants with similar growing profiles, completely insulated from the other cells. The system is fully automatic: some sensors constantly monitor the growth of the plants and they automatically provide the necessary amount of
light and water. The growing process is pesticide-free to fully respect the concept of sustainability.
Irrigation system
Among the possible hydroponic irrigation systems, Cultifutura chose the ebb & flow system to create an optimal environment for the roots to develop and for the plants to grow healthy. The system floods the water into the growing tray to surround the plant roots before
draining back according to the plant growing profile. It is often activated by a pump connected to a platform that indicates the right timing.
Lighting system
The artificial lighting system substitutes the sunlight that activates the photosynthesis process is fundamental for the growing and survival of the plant. Cultifutura uses a full spectrum LEDs solution designed for indoor growing. The light system does not interfere with the human eye's comfort and can be placed in offices, homes, and public facilities.
Sensors
CultEvo has many sensors that constantly monitor the growing conditions to control the process. Their level of accuracy allows not only to reduce malfunctioning but also to increase the level of quality and efficiency of the growing systems. These sensors have control over some important data such as temperature, humidity, water supply and light.
