Illinois announces investment in lab development

In a move that will make way for new breakthroughs in life sciences research and sustainable energy, Governor JB Pritzker and DCEO announced 8 new projects as part of the Wet Lab Capital program and new investments to bolster Illinois Tech’s Microgrid. The past year has proven that investments in these sectors are essential to our communities, and also that Illinois is ripe for the continued expansion of vital wet lab spaces. Leveraged by #RebuildIllinois, investments will generate $90M in vital modern lab space, boost energy grid stability and strengthen Illinois’ competitive edge well into the 21st century.
