The Hawthorne Gardening Company will intensify collaboration efforts between its Gavita and Agrolux brands with the aim to build the optimal product portfolio for the Horticultural lighting industry and enhance customer service.
Hawthorne, a provider of HPS and LED lighting products for horticulture applications worldwide, acquired Gavita in 2016 and Agrolux in 2017. It now will be taking a joint approach with both brands when it comes to R&D, procurement, and supply chain management. "As a result, we will be able to offer a more enhanced and complete product range, premium quality at a competitive cost, and high delivery reliability," the Hawthorne team stated.
“We are very excited about intensifying the cooperation of our premium lighting brands,” said Fred Bosch, general manager of Hawthorne’s Europe operations. “By strengthening our product portfolio to serve customers better, we’re taking a logical step that fits perfectly with our growth ambition.”
