US (WI): New Market Hall opening soon is adding an organic greens vendor to its lineup

The new 3rd Street Market Hall opening soon in downtown Milwaukee is adding an aquaponics vendor to its lineup. Pewaukee-based Valor Aquaponics LLC, which grows organic greens and raises fish, is seeking an occupancy permit for a kiosk at the food hall, 275 W. Wisconsin Ave.

Valor Aquaponics will be selling fresh produce as well as packaged items from other vendors, according to the application. Valor Aquaponics was launched by Patrick Hansen and Devin Johnson in December 2019.

The company grows an assortment of organic lettuces, microgreens, herbs, and vegetables while raising yellow perch and rainbow trout. It obtained U.S. Department of Agriculture organic certification in November 2020.

The food hall's vendors will include Anytime Arepa, Dairyland, Greenhouse, Brew City Brand, Mid-Way Bakery, Amano Pan, Make Waves, Hot Dish Pantry, Middle East Side, Strega, Supernova, Topgolf Swing Suites, a gaming lounge, and a selfie museum.
