The 2022 Aquaponics Conference will be from September 30 to October 2 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This will be the 11th Annual Aquaponics Conference presented by The Aquaponics Association.
The Conference will feature three days of aquaponics presentations, tours, social events, breakout discussions, and the Aquaponics Vendor Showroom. The Annual Conference connects all kinds of aquaponics growers so that they can learn from each other and collaborate on expanding the practice of aquaponics.
This is the third time that the Association intends to head to Oklahoma for its Annual Conference. In 2020 and 2021, the Association canceled the in-person programming and pivoted to a 100% virtual conference due to Covid concerns.
Symbiotic Aquaponic LLC, based in nearby Talihina, OK, is partnering with the Association to plan and execute the event. Symbiotic Vice President Regina Greuel Cook will serve as Conference Chair.
Ms. Cook stated: “Because this is our third go-round, we’ve already got amazing tours and social events lined up around beautiful Oklahoma City! This is a great opportunity to showcase how aquaponics can positively impact a community.”
The Conference will take place at the Downtown OKC Sheraton Hotel, with special room rates for conference participants.
