"Our vision really appeals to the current generation"

Logiqs expects sales to double in 2022

Reyer van der Louw was originally in accountancy, but made the switch towards business in March 2016. At scale-up Logiqs, the CFO found the business dynamics he had set his sights on. Following the company's separation from Huisman Group in 2014, Logiqs developed from a supplier for internal transport solutions to an innovator in agritech with an annual growth of at least 20 percent.

"Last year, sales exceeded 25 million Euro for the first time, and for 2022, sales are expected to double," said Reyer to CFO Magazine in an interview. Logiqs has set itself the goal of setting up 500 vertical farms by 2050 in cold storage facilities or nurseries, or by building and delivering complete vertical farms.

"We are getting better at showcasing our mission and vision," says Reyer. "And that mission - fair food for all - appeals enormously to the current generation. 'What are you going to participate in?' Well, in ensuring access to food for everyone in the world, so that you, as an employee of Logiqs, will be doing something really meaningful."
