Greener Crop and Tamkeen Investments

New partnership to expand advanced farming technologies in Oman

Greener Crop, a Dubai-based agtech company announced the signing of its partnership agreement with Tamkeen Investments, a Venture Capital company that focuses on investments in science, technology and innovation.  

Together with Mustafa AlHinai, Greener Crop's focus will be developing commercial hydroponic farms in Oman. During the signing ceremony at Gulfood, Greener Crop’s C.E.O.  Alexander Kappes, and Tamkeen Investments’ C.E.O. Mustafa Al Hinai stated that their shared goal was to expand the use of advanced farming technologies in Oman.

“Our focus is to enable existing and aspiring farmers in Oman, by providing them with a combination of innovative technology,
and data-driven farm management,” said Alexander Kappes.


The signing ceremony took place during the Gulfood Exhibition at Dubai World Trade Centre, where Greener Crop is a sponsor of Top Table.

"We believe that we can greatly contribute to Oman's food security and the growth of sustainable agriculture in the country," said Alexander. 

Greener Crop aims to enable hydroponic farming in the Middle East and Africa. The company offers four key farm management solutions for existing or aspiring farmers: development of crop strategy, input management, physical farm management, and crop marketing.
