A Michigan State University survey

CEA growers invited to participate in labor cost research

Producers of leafy greens in greenhouses or indoor (vertical) farms are invited to complete a survey by Michigan State University. The purpose of this survey is to understand production-related labor requirements and estimate labor costs in CEA farms, growing leafy greens with artificial lights.

In this survey, farmers will be asked about labor hours, skills, and associated costs through your farm’s production stages. Your answers will be completely anonymous and no personally identifiable information will be asked.

This survey should take about 20 minutes. Click here to partake in it.

If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Simone Valle de Souza, from Michigan State University, phone: (517) 884 8042 or email: valledes@msu.edu.
