Photo Report: Protected Cropping Australia Conference 2022

As this year's Protected Cropping Australia Conference comes to an end, the date and city have already been set for next year's event.

PCA has announced that it will be in Brisbane from July 17-20, returning to Queensland after the last conference was on the Gold Coast in 2019.

The conference wrapped up on with around 450 delegates attending across the three days, as the exhibition and trade show included more than 60 companies.

Among the themes of the event were People & Skills, IPDM, New Research in Protected Cropping, Rootzone/Substrates, the Berry Sector, Pollination, Innovation and New Technology and Medicinal Cannabis.

The greenhouse industry is valued at more than $1.6 billion per year and covers a wide sector of horticulture from fruit, vegetables, cut flowers, nursery, leafy greens, aquaponics and cannabis industries.
