Eliminate sensor failures under extreme conditions using just your phone

The nSens RH/T sensors from Novasina are able to maintain +/-0.5% accuracy even when used at high humidity and in the presence of volatiles such as ammonia. What sets them apart from other Rh/T sensors is the electrolytic resistive technology they use, which does not exhibit any hysteresis. The performance of all other RH/T sensors will suffer when exposed to large fluctuations in humidity or extreme conditions and will require maintenance to fix calibration shifts. The nSens sensors will maintain their performance regardless of conditions, including under humidities approaching 100%.

“What makes the nSens sensors unique is their ability to continue working properly under extreme conditions where other sensors fail or require constant calibration” said Philippe Troesh, Product Director for Novasina. “We look to partner with monitoring systems being used in these challenging environments to provide them with a RH/T sensor that doesn’t require constant maintenance.”

The nSens RH/T sensors are compatible with a range of data collection options, but Novasina is excited to announce a new option for collecting data from the sensors, nSens Mobile. It allows relative humidity and temperature readings to be taken and recorded using a mobile app on your Android phone. The nSens Mobile kit comes with one certified nSens-HT-EIS sensor, the nLink-USB-Smart connector to connect to an android phone, 2 SAL-SC calibration standards and a table holder.

The nSense Mobile app downloaded on your phone can take a single measurement, log data over time, and adjust sensor calibration. The app can also graph the data to show trends and fluctuations. This archived data can then be exported using the Android sharing feature. The USB smart connector can also be connected directly to a computer and used with the nSoft-Cal-Pro software to log data and adjust calibration.
