UK: Vertical farm takes Solent business park site

A vertical farm specialist has taken the final unit at a Solent Business Park site. Agventure Farms has leased the first floor south suite at Prism, 1650 Parkway, with Vail Williams – joint marketing agent with Savills – acting on behalf of commercial property investment company Craigard, the owner of Prism. The deal covers 1,636 sq ft. / 150m2.

Matt Cureton, a Vail Williams surveyor, said: "Prism, a high-quality workspace, is now fully occupied following the letting to Agventure Farms.

"The suite was fully furnished beforehand so the occupier could move in from day one – this plug and play offering is becoming increasingly popular here on the South Coast."

Prism was acquired by Craigard in 2016, whose managing director David Foster added: "Craigard invested in creating a superb working environment for prospective tenants, with a comprehensive refurbishment to meet the expectations of modern-day tenants.

"It is great to see the building now fully let and having done so well since the pandemic – to achieve lettings on circa 60 percent of the building since the pandemic began is quite an achievement."
