Iron Ox' fresh produce expanding across Southwest

Iron Ox announces that their fresh produce is now on store shelves in the Austin area and, by next week, will be available across the Southwest region. That means the fresh produce will soon not only be available for customers in Texas, but also near Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

Starting today, Iron Ox'Texas-grown fresh produce is available at Whole Foods Market locations in the Austin area, as well as Milkrun, Farmhouse Delivery, and Good Things Grocery – all grown in their new Lockhart greenhouse, which is now the largest location – and it's not even done.

"We sell out of our produce grown in Iron Ox's Gilroy, CA greenhouse every week thanks to Whole Foods Market locations in northern California, and we are beyond thrilled to expand into their Texas locations," said our CEO and co-founder Brandon Alexander, who grew up picking cotton, potatoes and peanuts on his family's farm in Texas. "Iron Ox's brand new Texas facility is the blueprint for sustainable, scalable farming near urban centers across the nation and strengthens our mission of making our food system scalable, secure, and sustainable."
