Israel: Growing cabinet allows to cultivate 32 different crops

The AgwaGarden is an autonomous vegetable garden that allows home growers to enjoy all year-round vegetables, herbs, and other green plants grown in an optimal growing environment that will require minimal effort and zero prior knowledge, through a monthly subscription that will provide customers with new seeds at the beginning of each month and a smart application that will manage all Business easily.

The process of registering and ordering the vegetable garden is very simple, and after you register and place the order for the vegetable garden itself and your first 59 seedlings, everything will be delivered to your home by courier.

The first shipment brings 59 different seedlings pods, which are actually small soil capsules that contain seeds. Currently, it is possible to order mainly green plants such as lettuce of various types and various herbs such as green onions and thyme - Agua-Farm promises to add a wide variety of vegetables in the future, including cherry tomatoes and even strawberries.

The device itself, the agave-garden, is ultimately a rather large and smart container (some would say too large) with a hydroponic irrigation system (one that allows plants to grow on a detached substrate). The garden consists of three shelves that include 5 different columns with 4 pockets each (with the exception of the middle column in the bottom row which includes 3 pockets and an opening for putting water in) - a total of space for 59 different seedlings (in the delivery you receive 4 seedlings of each type you chose and you can in principle choose the same A camera is placed above each shelf that allows the garden's smart system as well as Agua-Farm employees to scan the condition of the plants and update their status in the app.

The first installation procedure for the garden is quite simple: along with the device itself and the 59 seedlings you will receive, you will also receive several bottles of fertilizers which are actually a variety of salts and minerals that enrich the seeds, provide them with resources and food for growth and prevent them from developing diseases. In addition, the garden comes with two sensors that measure the water quality and allow the plants to receive the best quality water (the data about the water quality is sent to the central computer of the agave-garden, which accordingly regulates the amount of fertilizers and salts required for growth). The fertilizers need to be renewed once every six months to eight months, and receiving new fertilizers is done at no extra charge and as part of the monthly subscription to the service.
