On the 25th of August, the winners of the AgTech Breakthrough Awards were announced. Multiple companies in horticulture, agriculture, and livestock farming won an award.
We've made you a list of all CEA agtech companies that have been awarded:
Indoor farming:
- Agbotic, a greenhouse solution provider, won the Greenhouse production system of the year award
- Attaraya, a solution provider, has been named the Overall indoor farming solution of the year
- Light Science Technologies, a lighting supplier, won the Lighting system of the year award
- Plenty, a vertical farming company, won the Overal indoor farming solution of the year award
- Upward Farms, a vertical aquaponic farming company, has been named Vertical farming solution of the year
- Urban Crop Solutions, a vertical farm solution provider, has been named Indoor farming company of the year
AgTech industry leadership:
- AeroFarms, a vertical farming company, has been named vertical farming company of the year
- Iron Ox, a greenhouse operator and robotics developer has been named AgTech startup of the year
Automation and robotics:
- CubicFarm Systems, a container farm supplier, has been named Overall agriculture robotics solution of the year
Farm Management:
- Iunu, a computer vision farm control systems supplier, has been named Farm management company of the year
Internet-of-Things and AI:
- Greenlabs, a farm management software provider, won the Overal Sensor solution of the year award
- Freight Farms, a container farm- and software provider, won the IoT monitoring solution of the year award
- AgEye Tech, a farm management software supplier, has been named AI-based AgTech company of the year
Analytics:
- CarbonBook, a carbon software provider, won the Analytics innovation of the year award
Food replacement tech:
- Hyfe Foods, a company that processes funghi into flour, won the Food replacement innovation of the year
