As of November, Judith van Heck takes over as project leader of Fieldlab Vertical Farming Zuid-Holland from Gus van der Feltz. From her role as a community builder at Indoor Farming The Netherlands, operating from Greenport West-Holland, Judith is already familiar with the project. She has been asked by Greenport West-Holland, in consultation with the consortium partners, to take over for Gus.
Gus has accepted a new challenge at the company 30MHz, one that he wasn't able to combine with his role as project leader. The Fieldlab runs until halfway through 2023. In the meantime, the consortium is exploring possibilities for a follow-up.
In the Fieldlab Vertical Farming, an important collaboration is established between South Holland knowledge institutions and companies that are engaged in the production of vertically grown products, the sale of vertically grown products, and suppliers of technologies for vertical farms.
