Vertical Future hosts a group of year 12 students at R&D site in Deptford, South East London

"It was a genuine pleasure spending time with such an enthusiastic bunch, and we hope we've inspired a new generation to think about working in the vertical farming technology sector," the team announces.

The students, who are currently studying BTEC Applied Science at the local 6th form college Christ The King Emmanuel School, took part in seminars on Genetics and photosynthesis, a careers session, and a tour of our R&D farm, and they also did a data modeling session for over 5 hours.

This is a great way for Vertical Future to connect with a vibrant local community where opportunities may be in short supply. The company will be hosting another session for the school's students next Spring and potentially next Autumn as well, so there is lots more to come.
