The Line is a project that aims to build future cities which are sustainable, self-sufficient, and energy efficient. Susanne will be responsible for marketing and partnerships in food for this innovative project. As the company shares on their website: "The Line is a civilizational revolution that puts humans first, providing an unprecedented urban living experience while preserving the surrounding nature. It redefines the concept of urban development and what future cities should look like."

Susanne shared, "Part of my work will include indoor farming as a cornerstone of sustainable future living. Providing people with freshly grown vegetables and fruits year-round is a must for a healthy lifestyle. Obviously, this is to be combined with physical activity and adding plant-based food to our daily diet."

Future Crops and the community of indoor farming in The Netherlands are at the forefront of a new era. We build together, share our knowledge and expertise, and extend partnerships across the globe. I am grateful for the experience of collaborating with many in the field and look forward to this new adventure in sustainable food innovation at NEOM. Bringing like-minded experts and food companies together to create a future where we can enjoy food while minimizing our impact on the earth has my great passion.
