Straight up faming: showcasing VF tech

Step into a farm of the future where food is grown without soil. Find out how vertical farms work, and tell us what you think. Straight up farming is a new installation to showcase vertical farming – a new technology that is already changing the way we grow crops and promises to revolutionize food production in the next decade.

Also, look out for discussions and debates in the vertical farm on the future of food.

Straight up farming is a new installation to introduce the public to vertical farming. This new technology is already changing the way we grow crops and promises to revolutionize food production in the next decade.

It is important to talk to the public about these changes and explore the potential benefits and challenges of vertical farming.

The event will showcase the technology, talk about the role of John Innes Centre Research in making farms more efficient and canvass public opinion.
