Koppert has acquired the Scandinavian company Lindesro. Lindesro has been Koppert's Scandinavian distributor since 2007. The deal was signed at Koppert headquarters in the Netherlands recently.
"The acquisition of Lindesro will bring us closer to the Scandinavian market. Soon we will be able to further upgrade our knowledge sharing and support to our customers and ensure delivery security and logistics in this region," said Ron Verhaagh, key account manager at Koppert. "Lindesro has always shared our ambition to promote sustainability in food production. This acquisition will help us to build more local commercial strength and promote our products and consultancy directly."
"This acquisition is the continuity of the long-term collaboration between our companies. This way, we will continue to be a good and strong partner for growers in Sweden," said Örjan Slanberg, owner of Lindesro AB in Sweden.
"We share the common goal of making a more sustainable agriculture a reality. With this next step, we will be able to offer more support to Scandinavian growers," adds Lena Slanberg, shareholder at Lindesro AB.
The acquisition is fully in line with the values of Koppert. Since its founding in 1967, the company is committed to promoting sustainable solutions to make agriculture healthier, safer, and more productive. Koppert offers an integrated system of knowledge and natural solutions with the added value of a holistic approach.
