Improving energy- and water for vertical farms

Vertical farms have a higher-than-average energy usage of 38.8 kWh per kg of produce. How do we curb this trend and work to make indoor farms more energy efficient? What technology is leading the way to allow vertical farms to leverage renewables and other forms of energy?

Most Vertical farms are not measuring their inputs, such as water, at the beginning of the production cycle leading to higher, unpredictable outputs.

In what way can water reuse and recycling lower inputs for your farm? How can we harness water reclamation and recycling for maximum reuse? What are possible solutions for water upcycling?

Join the Association for Vertical Farming to learn the answers to these questions and pose some of your own.
