Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte visited the AMCG Farm in Davao City to study the smart technologies it has been using. The AMCG Farm utilizes hydroponic gardens and greenhouse technologies made by Israeli firm Netafim, which is one of the leading irrigation companies in the world.
AMCG Farm owner Alex Gamutan explained that the smart system the farm is using nourishes its crops through the efficient use of water. Belmonte hopes to use the same technology to improve Quezon City’s agricultural programs.
