The Hawita Group, based in Germany, Italy, and Latvia, has become part of Group De Ceuster. The integration aims to join forces within GroupDC's "Plant care" division and to take a leading role in making the sector more sustainable.
GroupDC is a global player in organic and organo-mineral fertilizers as well as in organic crop protection products for the prevention and treatment of plant diseases. Its "Plant care" product range also includes potting soils, soil improvers, covering materials and grass seeds. The Hawita Group has been a European producer of soil improvers, potting soils, and growing pots for many years. So the portfolios of the two business groups complement each other. Hawita will continue to operate under the GroupDC umbrella as an independent company with the same management team.
