Nutrifresh announces green initiative on World Environment Day

Pune-based Agritech startup Nutrifresh celebrated World Environment Day in a unique way. The day is celebrated globally to raise awareness and encourage action for the protection of the environment. Taking this opportunity to make a difference, Nutrifresh has launched a campaign to get closer to nature, where one can experience the lifecycle of natural products and learn how hydroponic farming is revolutionizing the farming landscape in India.

“We are launching a new campaign on the occasion of World Environment Day to raise awareness about sustainable farming methods in India. Visitors can come and visit India’s biggest hydroponic farm and learn more about how new methods of farming are protecting the environment. The highlight of this campaign is that people can plant a tree in their names on this land as part of the celebration. We have organized some workshops and activities where people can join us to experience farm-fresh food and return home with healthy, handpicked gifts,” said Sanket Mehta, Co-Founder of Nutrifresh.

Co-founded by two Agripreneurs, Sanket Mehta and Ganesh Nikam, Nutrifresh’s aim is to supply consistent pesticide-free Hydroponic produce that is nutrient-rich to the Indian consumer year-round. Nutrifresh is committed to quality and is one of the few farmers with ISO, FSSAI, APEDA, HACCP, and GLOBAL GAP certifications. As an Agritech startup operating for the last three years under the name of Nutrifresh Farm Tech India Pvt Ltd., having operations in Pune and Mumbai, currently running a 48 acres farm, we are into soilless and hydroponic cultivation.
