Agreement to bolster food security in Namibia

Got Produce Global Brands (GPG) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). This agreement marks a monumental step towards revolutionizing food systems on a global scale and underscores the commitment of both entities to address the critical challenges of food insecurity, sustainable development, and partnership-building.

Strengthening Food Systems in Namibia: aligning projects with Namibia's National Development Plan and Agriculture Investment Plan, this joint effort aspires to conquer hunger and drive sustainable development.

Private Sector Partnership for Impact: the aim is to co-create and co-finance initiatives that channel socio-impact investments into enhancing marketing efficiency, establishing vital links between smallholder farmers and the value chain, and scaling up agricultural production.

Empowering Sustainable AgriTech-Centered Societies: through a convergence of humanity, technology, and environmental stewardship, this initiative aspires to foster economic growth, safety, efficiency, and sustainability within the realm of agriculture. The overarching goal is to shape a future where agricultural systems thrive, resilience is paramount, and the well-being of generations is safeguarded.
