US (NJ): Geogreens is looking for $49,000 bond offering

Geogreens, a vertical farming business based in Hamilton, NJ, is participating in the new Mercer County Small Business Investment Program through a partnership with SMBX. This program will help Geogreens to apply for a $49,000 bond offering, allowing small businesses in Mercer County to raise funds without fees.

The new funding will be an addition to the $75,000 funding the farm received in June this year. SMBX is a financial provider that aids small businesses in raising capital by issuing small business bonds via their SMBX marketplace.

Founded in 2015 by Desmond Hayes, Geogreens is an MBE-owned farm that grows micro-greens, leafy greens, and herbs. They're issuing Bonds for expansion in infrastructure and creating additional educational resources. The company's future plans include adding fruiting crops.
