Join Oklahoma Fungi on a tour of Dragon City Farms, an indoor hydroponic farm located in the charming city of Dallas, Texas. The farm is growing leafy greens, herbs, strawberries, microgreens, and gourmet mushrooms using a ZipGrow system.
Head mycologist and owner of the farm, Alex Davis, will personally guide us through the facility. Using highly efficient, innovative hydroponic methods, Dragon City Farms has eliminated the traditional farming challenges of limited growing seasons, unreliable weather patterns, and increasing costs of transport.
A couple of years ago, Alex recognized the immense potential of fresh, high-quality mushrooms in the Dallas area and took matters into his own hands to ensure that people had access to sustainably grown produce.
