Vertical farm on display in Italian Gastronomy Hub

After the devastating fire at Planet Farms last week, there's also good news for the Planet Farms team. Since January 2024, the Identità Golose International Gastronomy Hub in Milan, Italy, hosts as an unusual exhibition gallery. In the Milanese venue near the Teatro alla Scala, a wall with a Planet Farms vertical farm is visible and functional.

Vertical farms have spread due to green conscience and to save land use, one of the hottest topics of these times. They are cultivation practices that allow the cultivation of plant species on multiple overlapping levels.

"The installation celebrates innovation in the kitchen thanks to the new Planet Farms vertical farming structure and the Signature Kitchen Suite column wine cellars, custodians of the wide selection of wines offered by the Hub. Our partnership underlines the shared values such as respect for raw materials and the use of technology to promote increasingly conscious and healthy quality nutrition. "

This structure will allow guests to understand the main peculiarities of the Planet Farms production method and admire the vegetables produced through vertical farming techniques in a controlled environment. The exhibition will be useful in providing a story of value to the restaurant's guests, thus highlighting the concepts of innovation and pursuit of quality that distinguish Identità Golose Milano and its partners.

Furthermore, Planet Farms products will be integrated into the à la carte menu in via Romagnosi 3, curated by Executive Chef Edoardo Traverso, with new dishes specifically designed to enhance the distinctive quality of the ingredients.

Claudio Ceroni, founder of Identità Golose Milano and president of MAGENTAbureau, says: "The partnership with Planet Farms and Signature Kitchen Suite represents a significant step towards innovation and sustainability in our gastronomic offer. By combining the excellence of Identità Golose Milano, Planet Farms, and Signature Kitchen Suite, we intend to offer our public a culinary experience based on respect for raw materials and advanced technology. This innovative combination will be the protagonist not only in our exhibition but also in the à la carte menu, where Planet Farms products become distinctive ingredients of dishes specially created by our Executive Chef Edoardo Traverso. We want to tell a story of value to our guests, highlighting our dedication to the taste revolution and culinary excellence."
