"Following the successful visit to Thessaloniki last year, I had the opportunity to organise the University of York and City College presentations that revolved around their studies in Business Planning and Sustainable Entrepreneurship.
In addition, I had the privilege to co-ordinate and organise various activities for the students and staff from City College who visited York for the first time. Furthermore, we also had the opportunity to visit an indoor vertical community farm 'Grow it York' at SPARK in York City Centre, where we saw the Fix Our Food research programme in action.
I feel very fortunate to have been selected to take part in this collaborative and valuable experience with my fellow students. Lastly, I want to give a special thanks to Claire Sinclair, Angeliki Papakonstantinou, Catherine Botting, Dr. Simon Kelly, Jane Suter, Dr Nicola Forsdike, and Alexandra Prodromidou, PhD for organising another fantastic event that has proved to be an incredibly valuable and transformative experience!
