Ribbon cutting ceremony at Calgary facility on April 30th

GoodLeaf Farms' microgreens and baby greens now available in Quebec

GoodLeaf Farms' microgreens and baby greens are now available in Quebec, Canada, producing its full roster of greens at its brand-new vertical farm in the Montreal suburb of Longueuil.

"It is a landmark for GoodLeaf Farms to be established in Quebec, bringing a nutritious source of local food to consumers across the province," says Barry Murchie, President and CEO of GoodLeaf Farms. "With the opening of the Montreal facility, GoodLeaf Farms has established Canada's first truly national network of indoor vertical farms. As import replacement products, the foods we are providing are critical to our food security and sovereignty."

With the construction complete and production fully underway, GoodLeaf's Kick'n Micro Mustard, Sweet Pea Shoots, Magic Micro Broccoli, Intensely Arugula Micros, Zesty Micro Radish, Cool Crisp Lettuce, Robust Romaine, Sweet and Spicy Mix. Four Seasons Mix and its Crisp Spring Mix will be appearing on store shelves and on restaurant menus across the province. Retail products proudly bear the symbol of Aliments du Quebec.

GoodLeaf's Montreal farm will produce more than two million pounds of fresh, local leafy greens each year, with an expected 40 annual harvests of microgreens and 20 annual harvests of baby greens.

Farm opening Calgary
On April 30th GoodLeaf Farms will hold the Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for our Calgary Facility. We look forward to hearing from The Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, RHJ Sigurdson and The Minister of Jobs, Economy and Technology, Matt Jones.

"A special thank you to our partners at McCain Foods and Power Sustainable Lios for the support in the opening of our second vertical farm."
