Lentil producer receives certificate highlighting food transparency

GreenOnyx, the creator of eco-friendly modular farms growing fresh leafy greens, has been awarded two prestigious quality certifications by the Detox Project: CleanScan and Glyphosate Residue Free. These certifications propel GreenOnyx's flagship fresh superfood product, Wanna Greens, as the first CleanScan-certified brand globally.

The Detox Project, renowned for its scientific assessment of toxic chemicals in food and supplements globally, awarded these certifications to GreenOnyx, reinforcing its commitment to the sterile and environmentally safe production process. The certifications signify Wanna Greens is free from commonly used weedkillers such as glyphosate and over 400 other pesticides and heavy metals, all of which pose risks to human health and the environment.

CleanScan, the first QR code-based certification, empowers brands to offer consumers unprecedented transparency regarding potential contaminants in food, clothing and personal-care products. The CleanScan certification validates GreenOnyx's final product as contaminant-free. Consumers can now easily access information about GreenOnyx's products and find out what contaminants they have been tested for through the CleanScan QR code.

Dr. Tsipi Shoham, co-founder and CEO of GreenOnyx, expressed her pride in these certifications. "These certifications are a testament to our commitment to delivering unparalleled freshness, sterility, and quality on a global scale," she said. "This achievement symbolizes trust and assurance for our consumers and expresses our core values of transparency and sustainability."

Henry Rowlands, founder of the Detox Project, said, "We are proud to certify GreenOnyx and Wanna Greens, as they exemplify the highest purity and environmental stewardship standards. GreenOnyx's commitment to transparency and sustainability aligns perfectly with our mission to promote safer and healthier products for consumers worldwide."
