"Attended a meeting with Mr. Wichai Thongtang to develop the Thai agricultural ecosystem using an Indoor Vertical Farm system in the eastern region of Thailand, Chonburi province, which is part of the EEC zone. This was done in collaboration with the Central and Eastern College of Agriculture and Technology. The development also includes Medical Grade food for hospital patients. Besides producing high-quality fresh vegetables from Indoor Vertical Farms, there will be development of fruits such as world-class strawberry varieties from around the world, Japanese melons, blueberries, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, imported high-value Chinese herbs, and high-value mushrooms like truffles. Importantly, it involves developing vocational agricultural students to international standards and creating good income opportunities for children passionate about agriculture to be on par with other professions," writes Krisana Tamvimol, Co-founder of DiStar Fresh Farm.
