US (SC): LCYEP aquaponics project available for high school students

The LCYEP Aquaponics Project aims to foster environmental sustainability, community engagement, and economic empowerment by developing and operating community-based aquaponics systems.

The project seeks to address food insecurity, environmental degradation, and economic barriers by promoting sustainable agricultural practices, educating the community, and creating local food production and distribution systems.

Juniors and seniors in the Williamsburg County and surrounding area
The Walking Softer Education Program, in partnership with the local nonprofit, The Low Country Youth Enhancement Program, is offering a $5,000 - $20,000 scholarship to students passionate about sustainability.

This opportunity is exclusively available to juniors and seniors who participate in the Low Country Youth Enhancement Program (LCYEP) Aquaponics Program!
