Fifteen speakers confirmed

Final chance to register at special rate for Vertical Farming World Congress 2025

With just one week left to register at the Super Saver rate, vertical farming professionals are being encouraged to secure their place at the Vertical Farming World Congress 2025, taking place 7–9 October in Amsterdam. The discount offers €200 off the standard registration fee and is available until Friday, 2 May.

Now in its sixth year, the congress is the industry's leading annual event, designed to connect operators, investors, researchers, suppliers, and retailers. This year's theme — "Higher Purpose" — reflects the sector's ongoing recalibration as it balances early optimism with the realities of long-term sustainability and scale.

Program highlights
The 2025 edition will feature site visits to Growy's high-tech vertical farm in Amsterdam and the Philips GrowWise Research Centre in Eindhoven, providing attendees with an up-close look at operations focused on productivity, precision, and plant performance.

At Growy, guests will see how robotics and data-driven systems power the production of pesticide-free leafy greens at scale. At GrowWise, the emphasis will be on research into optimal lighting, irrigation, and environmental conditions to enhance yield, morphology, nutritional value, and taste.

The conference program will span key themes including:

Operating profitably: A deep dive with Ard van de Kreeke, founder of Growy, and Tisha Livingston, President of 80 Acres Farms and CEO of Infinite Acres, on how to make vertical farms financially sustainable.

Return on investment: Perspectives from Dr. Phillip Lee (Evolve International) and Peter Bachmann (Gresham House) on investment criteria, efficient operations, and long-term risk mitigation.

Technology, crop innovation, and retail partnerships: How new systems, improved cultivars, and closer collaboration with retailers are reshaping the next phase of vertical farming.

Additional sessions will address public policy, global scaling challenges, and the evolving role of nutrition, transparency, and consumer engagement.

Fifteen speakers have already been confirmed, with further announcements expected in the coming weeks.

Industry dinner and networking
The event will also feature the prestigious gala dinner, returning this year to the 17th-century Koepelkerk, part of the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel. Networking opportunities will be a central feature of the three-day program, designed to foster collaboration among growers, tech developers, researchers, investors, and suppliers.

Early registration deadline
The €200 Super Saver discount is available for those who register by Friday, 2 May.
