Aldi is offering quicker payments for small produce farmers and suppliers as part of its continued commitment to supporting British businesses and the wider farming community. The move follows a period of dry weather across the UK that has placed additional strain on growers. With a hotter-than-normal summer in forecast, the measure is intended to help smaller suppliers manage cashflow challenges. Under the new initiative, all fresh produce suppliers who have a turnover of under £5mln will be offered new, quicker payment terms for the remainder of 2025.
