Hort Americas is now offering early access to the Voeks Dose1.0, a fertigation system designed to eliminate the complexity and limitations that come with traditional setups. Built for commercial operations, the Dose1.0 helps growers manage when, where and how much water and nutrients get applied. This is done while reducing waste, improving crop uniformity, and lowering both installation and labor costs.
"We've worked with growers long enough to know what slows them down," said Chris Higgins, president of Hort Americas. "From installation to operation, the Voeks Dose1.0 eliminates friction points, giving growers the control they need without the usual trade-offs. It's smart and designed for real-world use."
Unlike systems that require multiple components or third-party add-ons, the Dose1.0 fertigation skid arrives ready to go with an integrated pump, filter and mixer control. These features make on-site maintenance simple and cost-effective.
The Dose1.0 system offers a range of advanced features for efficient irrigation management. It provides irrigation control for up to 208 valves and 64 programmable blocks, ensuring better crop uniformity. Users can benefit from 20 irrigation programs that schedule based on time, volume, or solar accumulation. The system includes a versatile fertilizer injection mechanism, offering options based on electrical conductivity (EC), time, volume, or flow, with both sequential and parallel configurations available. It can manage up to 10 backwashing filters, triggered by time, volume, or pressure differential. Additionally, the system features a fertilizer mixer with three operating modes, as well as integrated pH and EC setpoint control and alarms. Support is included for four auxiliary pumps, which can be assigned to specific blocks for improved water and fertility distribution. The Dose1.0 provides cable control for up to 120 valves and radio control for an additional 96 valves, thereby reducing installation costs. Furthermore, it allows for remote access via GPRS, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet, offering an interface in six languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, and French.
A built-in pre-irrigation feature allows purging between recipes to save time during crop transitions. This reduces labor while ensuring cleaner operation when switching between fertilizer mixes or plant stages.
