The Orion Space Generation Foundation, together with its vertical farming venture Csillagváros Ltd. (Egreen Farming Solutions), will be represented at the MELiSSA 2025 Conference in Granada this October. The foundation's presence at the event will be through Orsolya Meier, a cooperative PhD student from the University of Debrecen.
The MELiSSA Conference, organized by the MELiSSA Space Research Program, is recognized as one of the leading international forums dedicated to sustainable space missions. It brings together researchers and experts to exchange knowledge on closed ecological systems and their applications in long-term human space exploration.

At this year's conference, Orsolya Meier will present the foundation's work in two sessions. The first, a poster presentation, will highlight Our SpaceGens – Mission Possible seed mission. The second, an oral presentation, will focus on the potential of giant reed (Arundo donax) as a promising candidate for future space cultivation.
