Joakim Ottander shares that he has joined Green City Farming as Co-founder & Chief Commercial Officer.
"After more than 15 years as a climate tech entrepreneur, I saw no other way forward than to continue on that path – but this time in a new industry," said Joakim in a statement. "Compared to open-field and greenhouse farming, CEA dramatically reduces land, water, and pesticide use. The one big challenge is energy – specifically artificial lighting. Optimizing energy use is therefore key to profitability and that's where my background in energy optimization comes in."
